The installation of bridges/crowns can be done in one or two appointments depending on the type of crown or bridge design. We utilize CEREC technology to provide on-site design and installation of bridges and crowns at our clinic. However, for certain aesthetic or technical cases, we may also collaborate with an experienced laboratory.
Day of treatment
- Take prescribed medication, if necessary.
Avoid
- Consuming hot liquids while under anesthesia.
- Eating sticky or hard foods (chewing gum, candies).
Diet
- Chew on the opposite side.
From the day after until complete healing
- Brush your teeth normally, using caution when flossing to avoid dislodging the temporary crown.
- If you lose the temporary crown, please visit the clinic immediately to have it reattached. Delaying this may make the installation of the new crown more difficult, and the other teeth may start to shift into the vacant space.
